How a Tyre is Made

Tyres are designed and manufactured to meet exacting standards to the requirements of vehicle manufacturers and their end users.

Different users have different needs so today's tyre manufacturer uses a variety of construction methods and materials. For example, a high mileage truck tyre requires far different properties to a low profile high performance car tyre, or motorcycle tyre.
